Ooooby-Versity Launches in Grey Lynn Thursday 13th May, 6.30pm

The Ooooby-versity concept is going live in Grey Lynn!

Come and be part of this inaugural event for New Zealand.

The idea is simple. Gather together with other home food growers from your local area and talk about tips and great ideas of things you could be doing in your garden.

If you're a beginner or an expert, Ooooby-versity sessions offer highly relevant and locally specific food growing information that you simply can't get from anywhere else. It's like one big yarn over a communal back fence.

It also happens to be a great fun way to learn and meet grooovy new people.

The first session will be an introduction of Ooooby-versity and we will explain how the process works. From there on we plan to run a weekly get together where you will learn seasonal gardening knowledge as well as ways to make some extra cash from your lil 'ol patch.

Come and join us at 6.30pm at the Grey Lynn Community Centre, 510 Richmond Rd, on this Thursday the 13th May. We will be finished by 8pm sharp and if you need to leave earlier you are free to sneak out.

It is a fun and worthwhile event. I hope to see you there.
