About Me:

I am from Northland and will soon be returning homewards after 8 years in Welly.

I am fortunate enough to do paid work that I love - I am a community educator supporting people that are working for social justice, environmental justice and treaty justice. Pretty cool!

I'm also into good conversations, massage, writing (I was a founding member of muse feminist magazine, issue 7 is out now!), reading, camping, swimming in the ocean, feejoa wine, yummy vegie food, live music, dance, community building, learning te reo, hanging out with small children, and riding my very sleek and classy bike.

Areas of interest and expertise

Facilitation, particiatory community education, mediation, group work (very interested, growing knowledge and experience)
Feminism (I worked at women's refuge and then rape crisis for 5 years)
Community work/support work/social work/community development
I'm interested in theatre, writing, film, art, music etc as tools for social change and want to do more learning in this area
