Kia ora Ron

The 350 crew (Aaron etc) have forwarded me the downtown ecotherapy parliament conversations as I'm on the communications/outreach/media team. We're helping organise events when needed and get the word out about stuff.

I'd love to help get 350 seedlings planted up in a Downtown Ecotherapy spin at Parliament!! I'm not sure if Aaron and co. have connections there so we can easily get permission to do it on the grounds... Are you thinking of a weekend date or keeping with the kaupapa of DET being a lunchtime work-week affair to get people out of offices and planting?? I'm bouncing back and forth on which would be better to pull the numbers for... Conservation week happens in September - could coincide it with that... or do it mid october which would be a great lead up to the 24th..

Do you have a preference??

I'm super happy to help out as much as I can. The small project team you mentioned - can you give me an idea of what it might entail? I'm trying to be cautious about over committing myself - I'm organizing a big bike event around the Great Harbour Way, doing lots for 350, doing Conservation Week, working full time, etc!! That said, they're all things I support and am passionate about so let's get it all off the ground and happening!! More plantings! I adore the idea of 350 people planting up seedlings on the grounds of parliament!!! let's make it happen!

Cheers,
christina

Hey Ron....great to hear from you!

I've just got back from the UK and have a renewed sense of verve (and a rejuvenated sense of purpose) to contribute as much as I can to this beautiful country. The fog of last year has lifted and all is bright and good.

And with that, I've just remembered I promised you a testemonial and I've been seriously lax in getting that through. I make it my promise for today, so check your inbox later on.

Hope all is well with your lovely self - bring my kisses to your missus - let's hook up soon!

Hi Ron
Downtown ecotherapy looks great. The more people can connect to nature, the more they will act to support it in many ways.
It would be great to see you at the workshop on the 18th, hope you can make it.

Hi Ron,
I understand that you are rushed off your feet (as was I last time you endeavored to make contact!). Leanne and I are cooking up a lunch date when she gets back from Canada.

In the meantime, I wanted to extend a warm welcome to you to join the Executive and Strategic members of intersect - the Older Young Professionals, if you like...
You can join here:

Looking forward to meeting you soon!

Welcome to the Intersect Social Network Online Extravaganza, Ron. I hope that you can be inspired, and inspire others with your contributions. Please let us know what you would find valuable in terms of networking, and how this network might be able to support you. Hope to meet you in person at one of our events soon. (Would love to see a photo of you, so that I can connect a face to your name!)

Have a great Tuesday! - Megan and the Intersect Crew
