Hey guys! For all of us who are going to be in Copenhagen for the UNFCCC climate negotiations in December, lets work to coordinate. There are going to be a fair few number of us there - so lets make sure we stay in touch!

Ok, best site ever for this stuff: http://radicalcrossstitch.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page I think of this kind of art/crafting in a few different ways: - protest/subversive/raising awareness - building social capital (eg. leaving $20 on a pa…

One thing I've come to agreement with myself over lately is that by and by the most efficient use of our time as community activists is to work on small community related projects like energy generation. Because most communities have groups of peopl…

Hey Raven talking of subversive arts movements... This is like guerilla gardening with a twist. It contextualises Michelle Obama's tearing up the white house lawn for veges as a really radical act! http://www.fritzhaeg.com/garden/initiatives/edible

We love the freedom of cheap air travel but we love our climate (and the people it supports) much more. This group is dedicated to the exploration of low carbon travel and the joys that come from choosing quality over expedience.

Surprise!

You’re invited to the last Face-to-Face event for Wellington Intersect members in 2009. This one is festive flavoured and it’s all about giving.

There will be surprise gifts, crafty activities, ideas for 'sustainable' gifts and conversations about giving. All the details are here:
http://intersect.ning.com/events/wellington-facetoface-last-one

Pssst...pass it on!
Why not surprise someone from the Wellington Intersectors and share this invite on their profile?

Cheers!

Hi Raven, CONGATULATIONS on your selection as a Youth Delegate to COP 15! I'm so excited about seeing you there! The NZYD is plotting a road trip London - Copenhagen. I'll send you a message. Let's talk low carbon travel and how make the most the those carbon miles we are using. Exciting!

Hey Raven...I hope you're the right Raven! I'm trying to hunt down Raven Gooding, further to a suggestion from Nick Potter that I get in touch.

I'm currently working on developing a 'Green Jobs' section of the website I work for, and Nick said some of the research you were doing with Enviroschools might help. It would be great to catch up with you in particular surrounding any data to back up the launch of this project and prove that there has been a significant surge of interest from New Zealanders looking to get involved/trained within the green jobs sector. You can either drop me a line here, or at lindsayalderton@gmail.com or text on 021986244 and I'll call you back.

And if you're not Raven Gooding, then apologies and have a great day!

Hi there -
I recommend you contact Linda Blincko here at the Depot Artspace -
She is working on Creative Apprenticeships, making it a reality for creatives to go into work without having to do the uni thing.
Also contact Lynn Lawton about the PACE programme, and the courses they set up for artists, musicians, actors, writers etc - for them to be self educated and self sustaining.

Hope you have a lovely weekend. xx Tanya
