If anybody has an interest in growing food, making compost, worm farms, permaculture etc. We need more hands to help out at Common Ground- the community gardens at the Home of Compassion in Island Bay (follow your nose from Dee st off the Parade)....
Climate Camp campaigners in Aotearoa are calling across the country to organise for a 2009 climate camp with an objective of starting a people's movement to actively address the root cause of climate change - this is the Wellington organising group!

Thats cool, anybody can come along and be a part. Every sunday from about 1. At the moment we are mulching paths and gardens, applying compost, plans for a glass house and mulch pit. Come along.

I don't have much experience apart from growing up with a family garden, but pretty good at getting my hands dirty and building stuff in general.

a friend of mine, sue page, met you the deep ecology gatehring in raglan, and told me you were new (back) in wellington ... and that i should invite you to teh awakening the dreamer symposium which is on in wellington this weekend!
so consider yourself personally invited!! (see in events for the details).
