What better day to stage a protest against wasteful consumerism than on New Zealand's busiest shopping day of the year - December 26 (Boxing Day).

- me, my life and I --- Also known by my online alias Mariella, born and bred in Hawke's Bay but have also lived in Wellington and Rotorua.
Time for an update... I finally moved to the big city, broadening my horizons and taking up residence as a Wellingtonian. I have just entered the world of University studentsville as I launched into a Bachelor of Arts degree this year majoring in Maori Studies and Anthropology.
My passion is travelling and meeting people from different cultures, getting to know cultures completely different from ours.
