About Me:
I love living, therefore health and sustianability are really important me. I'm interested in living and creating a more healthy and vibrantly sustainable world, and collaborating with others to continue enjoying it.
Areas of interest and expertise
I'm currently I'm doing a masters in sustainability science at Lund University in Sweden - it's great! I'm very interested in healthy systems, and the juxtaposition of beauty and sustainability (and the role that design plays in that mix). And all sorts of things in between. I'm also a secret ranter.

Hi Liv,

Just saw your survey regarding Intersect and sustainability. It came as something of a welcome surprise, since I'm also studying at Lund University but in the LUMID (International Masters in Development and Management) program (and I have so far found only one other New Zealander in Lund)! How far along in the course are you? Perhaps we should meet up sometime; I'm heading to Copenhagen after the Suzuki talk on Sunday to meet a good friend - also a fellow Intersect member - who's there for the conference. Feel free to drop me a line if you're keen! bina.ang@gmail.com is my address.

Have a good one, hope the darkness isn't getting you down.

oh that's great. too of my good friends from NYC life are Swedish, and one has now moved back to Stockholm (but will be visiting me this month). The other now lives in Paris -- there was even some talk of Sweden over Christmas/NY, so I'll let you know if that happens. Do you live in Stockholm? What school are you at? x t

Hey Liv,
Sorry for the REALLY late reply. Hope the trip is going well. Are you in Sweden yet? Hope the European summer is going well. I'm not home till beginning of October then straight to Wanaka to start work.
I am travelling home through the UK and North America to look at a few case studies, especially around education and community resilience - some great work being done.
I only know of 2 kiwis in Lund at the mo. One is Ben who is taking part in the IIIEE masters at Lund Uni. Super cool and can help you with more contacts. benjamindonaldsmith@gmail.com. And a good friend of his Samira from Canada samira.viswanathan@gmail.com.
There was a kiwi in LUMES last year ... forgotten name though!
Highly recommend getting in touch with the MSLS group out in Karlskrona (3 hours train ride east of Lund). A good contact there is Fiona - fionaalisonwright@gmail.com and/or Karen karenmariemiller@yahoo.ca, dear friends of mine. The new class does not start till the beginning of September.
Each of these masters are looking at sustainabiliy but taking a slightly different focus so they compliment well. Ben and I were working on a few workshops together to bring these masters programmes into the same room to see how we could support each other. I hope this work to be continued. If you are interested I recommend talking to Ben about it.
That is all I have a the mo. Hope you are happy and let me know your new email, reply to elawton66@hotmail.com

Hey Liv,
Which programme are you attending in Sweden? Have made some cool networks between the international sustainability masters programmes, particularly between Blekinge Institute and Lund programmes. Can share some insight!
Just finsihed the masters (wohoo) and got a working/travelling/music-fest route home.
Keep in touch.
Ella.

Thanks hon. Great to be stretching the conversations trans-Tasman! So impressed at where you guys are taking Intersect to. I'm bubbling with schemings for future projects we might create across the Tasman and in Welly. Hey, why not even stretch it to Sweden! Looking forward to catching up more about your learning adventure there soon. When do you leave? xxx
