Hi there folks,

Street life, active transport and local community development are what excite me most - sustainable neighborhoods that are fun, vibrant and easy to get around on by foot or by bike.

I love street music, markets, festivals and DIY culture!

I work with Living Streets Aotearoa creating a network of people interested in advocating for more and better walking and better use of public places in the Auckland Region.

I'm also involved in setting up a Night Market in Auckland CBD, which I most definitely need a hand with.

My Background is in Transportation Engineering, Sustainability, Festivals, Community Music Education, Web Design & Earth building.

Living Streets Aotearoa is looking for an experienced community development networker to replace our staff member in Auckland who will be away for five months.

We are looking for someone with the ability to support and develop our groups in Auckland City, North Shore, Waitakere, and Manukau, to motivate and enthuse volunteers, and to establish and maintain effective networks and relationships with a wide range of stakeholders in the Auckland region.

Very short notice sorry - Walking and Cycling Micro-Fund provides $1000 grants - Apply now! !

The Walking and Cycling Micro-Fund is run jointly by Living Streets Aotearoa and Cycling Advocates’ Network. The Fund provides opportunities for organisations to apply for funding of up to $1000 towards events, promotions and initiatives which promote walking and cycling as a transport option for short trips. The New Zealand Transport Agency provides the funding.
