Stink they canned the breakfast - I didn't realise, but love the idea of a BYO instead. I'll see ya there! Em

Absolutely - the next one is this Saturday! If you can make it make sure you pre-register online at www.thebigshwop.co.nz and that you say hello! ;)

Ha Ha! I'm the same, which is why I thought emails might be easier......! But your main message was definitely great for rounding up the troops. In short, I'm happy to collaborate with Liz on preparing media material. I can look after inviting the Auckland media and attend the day as a point of contact for any media that turn up. I will also be on my bike and frock. Okay-dokes let's keep in touch. E

Whoops - sorry Jude - just seen your general message to everyone. Good way to do it rather than individual emails!!! Sorry leave it with you and let me know what you want to do from an Auckland PR point of view. Cheers E

Hi Jude - Thanks for your message. Louise Thorely has got in touch to say a lady called Liz in Wellington is happy to rustle up a press release. Here is the message I have just sent to Louise:
If Liz wants to draft up the release then great. As she is a PR person she will know to include Wellington and Auckland event details in the body copy and in more detail withing 'Notes to Editors' at the end. From there, we could both or I could whip up a photocall/sound-bite invite, for the photo departments of publications and radio stations to come down on the day I could be present at the Auckland one to co-ordinate any media. Might be best if we have the emails of everyone involved (on the organisation front) so we can co-ordinate better. I'm happy to supply mine: elaine.mcnee@consortium.co.nz. If you want to pass this onto Liz, please feel free. Hope this makes sense? Cheers E

Hey Jude
Laurie's on holiday this week but I've already posted her an email to meet and discuss! Megan Hosking suggested widening it out to all the fashionistas which is another idea. But Laurie has certainly had been the first to have the guts and will to go sustainable in her fabrics and sourcing so I'm keen to see what she has to offer.
We could be the sustainable fashion parade of the decade!

Welcome to Intersect Jude! I hope that you find this useful for helping to manage getting people together. We can post up our lunchtime promenades as 'events' and invite people to participate. I have a feeling this group is going to be HUGE!
