Profile Information

Date of Birth

About Me:
I work at Refugee Services in events / PR / management / volunteer recruitment / community development & networking - lots of fun.
I volunteer for Amnesty and SAFE, am a member of the Green Party and run an organic food co-op on Waiheke Island. Used to be on the ol' 98 committee of Campaign for a better City

I like to meet up, chat, connect, share ideas and get things moving.

I think as a race human beings have amazing potential for creative solutions and designs for not just saving the planet, but also to live in harmony with nature, with all people living with dignity and realising their potential
all done with a nice balance of passion and silliness... ;)

oh yeah and i live in a tree hut in a bush clad valley on waiheke island

Hey Jo,
I don't have any quick contacts about the job you were speaking about. If you send me an email to eva.lawrence@aucklandcity.govt.nz with a bit of information I could try a few contacts. Basically though in my understanding a lot of gardening related work is contracted out so the council doesn't do the direct employment. Flick me the details though anyways :)

Hi Joanna

I would be interested in hearing more about the Waiheke food co-op, we moved to the NZ & the island in June and have just been down to placemakers to get stuff to start growing our own stuff.

Hey Joanna, glad you like the magazine :). They SHOULD be in most of the shops in Wellington today, and in Auckland and other places in a couple of days. If you're one of the lucky subscribers, you'll get it in the mail soon - they're on their way. Thanks!
