Yup, I'm interested. I was going to go along to the next TM evening at any rate, as I've been thinking about joining for a while now. An Intersect TM would be cool! - JamesM

Surprise!

You’re invited to our last Face-to-Face event for Wellington Intersectors for 2009. There will be the usual sharing of ideas and inspirations, but this one is a little bit Christmas flavoured and it’s all about Giving.

There will be surprise gifts, crafty activities, ideas for 'sustainable' gifts and conversations about giving. You can get involved in any way that suits you - even if it's just to meet a few more people and enjoy some tasty treats.

...Pssst...pass it on!
Why not surprise someone from the Wellington Intersectors and post this invite on their profile?

Cheers!

I reckon it's a great idea to start up a new Train-related group on Intersect like you've suggested (spilling out of the Flightless Birds group). It would be a good space to plan things like the train film festival, and also to focus specifically on the positive possibilities of creating a better train set for long distance travel in NZ. The flightless birds group has been great, but it's good to invite people to focus on something more specific that we can create. So... would you like to create that group? I'm happy to, but it was your suggestion so I reckon you should go for it! Plus it's good to show members that anyone can create a group. The only question is what to call it... Trains of thought? Train spotters? The right side of the tracks? Beyond tunnel vision? The pun possibilities are endless... ;)
