Profile Information

About Me:
The Intersect Network is a self-organising community of young professionals, connected on-line and through local projects and events.

This network is supported by the Intersect Trust, which was established by a group of young professionals with a deeply shared commitment to sustainability, regeneration and positive change.

The Intersect Trust generates change through:
Connecting - bringing people, groups and ideas together.
Energising - encouraging action through fun and inspiration.
Learning - developing understanding through curiosity and dialogue.
Growing - cultivating people's abilities so that we can all reach our full potential.

The "Intersect Crew" includes national trustees and regional activators who facilitate local projects and events. Current crew members are listed below.

Thanks Megan for the kind welcome!

I'm trying to de-rust and pimp out this original 1950's Raleigh I found so that I can join in the frocks rides and foster positive cycle vibes across the Isthmus. Sending positive thoughts to the Tamaki Drive cycle victim in hospital.

Hi Megan
Thanks for the message, and for accepting me as a member of the network. I appreciate that the priniciple benefits are for like-minded Kiwis, but I found Nick Potter's advice on car-sharing useful, as I'm considering setting up a car-share in my village in Sussex, UK. I wanted to leave a comment and was prompted to register, so I did!

More generally, I'm interested the the potential for online communities to mobilise for social and environmental change, and I hadn't come across Intersect before - so I'd love to find out more about what you're doing and perhaps compare notes on how things are developing in the UK.

Cheers,
Charlie
