About Me:

I'm taking the year off to write a book.
I'm trying to live a sustainable life with a small footprint, to this end I have a large garden in which I'm trying to grow a heap of fruit and vege organically to feed my little family. Craft is also a way of living sustainably and inventively (that's my excuse anyway!). As well as all this I run an online store selling re-usable menstrual products - Red Rag - http://www.redrag.co.nz/

Thanks for your question on the Wellington Face to Face event. It's kind of kiddie-friendly, in that it's a public cafe (albeit open only to us) and everyone there would be friendly towards kids. But it's also a small room that will probably be packed with about 30-40 people, with not much room to move about.

So... I'll leave it to your judgement! :) Nick

I was at the table near the coffee machine and had a stack of muses on the table to try and help identify myself. hopefully we will do better next time. First issue of muse had a little bit about alternative menstrual products which myself and my friend Anya wrote. If you wanted to contribute more about that, that would be great. I have a book called threads about menstruation that my friend in Scotland wrote. If you are in Wgtn sometime, I would love to meet up with you for a cuppa and you would be welcome to borrow threads. x t
