I love these : http://graffitiresearchlab.com/?page_id=6 throwies. The disturbing thing is that there are buildings with enough electrical equipment in them for there to be a magnetic feild for them to stick to, but they're very cool, none the less.

Is it tagging that's the problem, or graffiti images? Graffiti itself can be a valid art form (i.e Banksy) and a lot of graffiti artists are very talented people just looking for a place to express themselves. Some graffiti artists make a living off…

About Me:
I'm a first generation kiwi with British ancestry. In the last five years I've lived in Japan and England. I came back to New Zealand in 2007 to study for my BFA with a kiwi influence. I've since met my partner, who is doing an MSc in Ecology - so my time is pretty evenly divided between Quay School of the Arts and Massey Palmerston North's Ecology department.

I'm a sculpture Major, although a lot of my work ends up existing only as digital prints. The major bodies of work I've been producing lately all reflect my awareness and concern about the impact humans are having on the planet, with a view to increasing public awareness through art (in a manner that doesn't feel spoon fed).

I'm also Intersect's Young New Zealand Artist 2009. Please, forgive the shameless plug.
