Hi Moira, are you making your own apple cider vinegar? I made a batch earlier this year and after 5 months it tasted divine. I since have made a 2nd batch and it's gone moldy. I think the problem is that we don't have a hot water cupboard. The brew needs consistant warmth according to some recipes. Any tips from you?

Wow, I can tell this is going to be one of the best groups I've found! We've just been experimenting with fermenting veges as part of a healthy diet I'm doing (for my auto immune prob)... kimchi is underway, I'll report directions in the event of success. Our (small) house certainly smells like something tasty is going on.

Ello Ello Nanatechers! What do you think about taking part in this- We could make Lemonade! I'm back in Welly now from the 350 Roady so let's meet up to talk about potential dates and venues for the workshop(s), which we could promote at our Park on the 18th of September!

I can propose the Lifeboat (my house) for this meeting:

Nanatech Workshop meeting
22 Aro Street, Aro Valley, Wellington (it's an old shop- white and yellow)

Monday 31st August at 7pm
Please let me know if you can make it!
Woohoo!
x Beka

Hi Rebeka & Sophie, I love your page here :) and I'd love to come to a meeting but can't make Mondays. Tuesday? And let's do something together. Leanne

Hey Beka
Great!
Where is Leanne? I'd love to cook up a storm collectively. Can we make our own Drambuie from the oranges (! Kidding - sort of)...

Great to hear about nanatech. We are having great success preserving and held a couple of preserving parties end of last summer. We would love to host more events. My favourites are quince jam and dill pickles.
