Hives! I plan on getting one for the 09'/10' season! Woo! Tips?! There's a BEE workshop at the spring food festival - I'll have to attend :)

Hi Fellas,
Perhaps you could make a submission to Instructables- a website for show and tell how-tos.

Nah bro, nothing has lost its life to my turbine (to my knowledge). Sounds like a wives tale :)
Adam Guyton Comment by Adam Guyton on August 18, 2009 at 10:47am
Apparently bees are attracted to little turbines because of the noise and they get all chopped up. You haven't noticed a pile of insect bodies under your windmill?
Adam Guyton Comment by Adam Guyton on August 15, 2009 at 6:05pm
Actually... i am opting for a different system altogether. I'm interested in using the windmill to direct-drive a water pump which will supply energy to all sorts of machines around the place. The electrics are by far the most expensive part of any system so i'm gonna just avoid it altogether! we'll see
