While you're at it, send some of your reasons for taking action on Climate change to Alana for her awesome concrete-cleaning/stenciling project. Here's the Intersect Forum and here's her blogpost with awesome photos.

Creative expression...bringing the 'flava' to worldchanging movements since ages ago...
City Arts and the Sustainability Trust invite you to come and discuss some of the big questions, like:
What role can we as artists play in the challenge and opportunity the world is facing now?
Discuss how artists contribute to this conversation, and what's happening locally, nationally and internationally right now. This is an opportunity to connect with creative practitioners from Toi Pōneke and the wider Wellington arts sector who are actively engaged in this work:
Meet with creative practitioners from Intersect THAT'S YOU! www.intersect.ning.com (young professionals, leading the change).
Discuss possible future collaborations across the arts, environmental and wider sectors.
Share what you are currently doing and any ideas you would like to explore.
Hear about 350 Aotearoa and 350 International, and gather ideas for getting creatively involved.
Seeya there!
1.30 - 3pm, Tuesday 15 September 2009
Upper Chamber - Toi Pōneke Arts Centre, 61-69 Abel Smith Street, Wellington
Koha entry
If you are keen to attend please RSVP to arts@wcc.govt.nz
(This event is on the intersect events page too).

Are there others out there who are interested in doing so art/craft stuff for 350 action day in Wellington? I am planning something and thought it might be cool to make more of a statement by linking up with other artists. There's probably something along these lines already planned. Hope so.
